Bull and Ram fertility testing

An infertile sire can impact productivity significantly and result in extended calving or lambing periods. A full assessment of your breeding bull or ram should be carried out at least two months prior to your breeding season.

We will inspect the whole animal, including their feet, with a thorough examination of the testes, penis and prepuce. We will also do a fertility exam by collecting a semen sample where we will check it for quality and motility to ensure that your breeding sires are not infertile or sub-fertile.
